The Elite

History

South London, Brixton based Oi! band. The line-up included Den on vocals, Mark “Frenchy” French on bass and Geoff Williams on drums. They recorded one demo and appeared briefly on a BBC television documentary called “40 Minutes” about Skinheads.

By February 1982 they had split-up. Frenchy and Williams both joined the reformed Skrewdriver towards the end of 1981.

Not to be confused with the French RAC band Elite of around the mid-1980’s or the British Oi! band featuring Mark Hannan and Lol Proctor of The Business.
