Skinful
History
Skinful were formed in 1999 from Witney in Oxfordshire, England. The original line up being Gavin on vocal, Spike on guitar, Steve (vocalist from Loyalty) on bass and Mandy (ex-Loyalty) on drums.
The band made a self-produced 3-track demo tape recorded in September 1999 in Longcot. Around this time Mandy was replaced on drums with Dan.
Two tracks from the bands demo were remixed and remastered for a compilation CD in January 2000. The band were scheduled to play with Loyalty in March and February 2000 and at their first gig with Headcase from Belgium, Retaliator and Loyalty in April at Great Yarmouth when the new band members quit the band. This meant the band had to withdraw from their booked concerts.
The band was finished by 2001 and the remaining members Gavin and Steve went on to form Battle Standard.
