Crowbar

Crowbar

History

This UK band was actually a one piece studio RAC band with only one release of two tracks in 1984. In 2000, Captain Oi! Records put these two tracks on the compilation ‘Oi! The Rarities Volume 3’ together with other unpolitical and patriotic bands.

The band had one main member and used studio musicians for recording. Crowbar released two songs, one a cover of The Clash’s White Riot and a Crowbar original called Hippie Punks.

The German Oi! band Kampfzone covered the Crowbar song Hippie Punks on an early album.

Not to be confused with the clichè metal band from the USA also called Crowbar.
