No Remorse

History

On the 1st November 1996, ten years after being with the band, Paul Burnley decided to leave the band No Remorse. Will “Wilf” Browning retained the band’s name and guitar. With Daniel “Jacko” Jack on vocals, Gary Smith back on bass and Jean-Charles Tanzi (Chingford Attack) from France on drums.

The bands first album was titled Barbecue in Rostock and was a reference to an incident where neo-Nazi’s torched an immigrant hostel. The lyrics were even more extreme than previously along with the new alignment to the Combat 18 organisation. Will’s own label “ISD Records” released the album and production was moved to Europe to avoid criminal charges due to the albums content. Recording and production was sub-quality. Despite this the CD’s producer was prosecuted and imprisoned for six months. The album’s cover art was drawn by Griffin from Canada. The CD’s disparaging “Bollox to” listed a few fellow RAC musicians and reflected the split at the time between the original Blood and Honour and the newer Combat 18 organisation.

The second release from the band was Smash The Reds! which was a live recording from a gig in Heanor, UK in October 1995. Nearly 10 years later another version of the band released the Startup The Panzers and Deutschland albums. The band’s last release was 18 Was Right in 2012.
