Ian Stuart
History
The vocalist of Skrewdriver, Ian Stuart’s solo and projects.
The band for the No Turning Back album was Ian Stuart on vocals with the band Strikeforce as J.B., Mac, and Ali.
The line up for the Slay Beast album was Ian Stuart on vocals, Ross “the Boss” on guitar and bass, Lenny F on drums and “The Big O” on piano as Strikeforce.
For the Patriotic Ballad albums Ian Stuart on vocals was joined by Steve “Stigger” Calladine on guitar and piano.
Ian also created The Klansmen band and released several albums in the rock’a’billy style.

The original cover was supposed to be a photo of Ian standing with the masked backing band. This cover was rejected as it was “too subversive”.
This mini-LP was done as a tribute to members of the band and friends (John Hickson, Rich Brierley, Stigger, Johnny B, Kev Noon, and Bo) who were being held in Germany for a crime they did not commit. They were eventually released on bail and charges were dropped after about 2 years of show trials.
The line up was Ian Stuart on vocals and guitar, with X on lead guitar, Y on bass and Z on drums.

This was released in 1992 but the number (RCD 119) was surrounded by CDs released in the 90-91 time frame. It is assumed that this was released using a skipped over catalog number or perhaps it had been planned for some time and assigned this number but not released until 1992. This has never officially been released on vinyl until 2004 as unlabelled reissues appeared as numbered either white, red or blue vinyl. The 2019 reissues appeared as either clear yellow or purple vinyl.
